Hello World!
This is my first attempt to write a blog about nutrition, training an of course aesthetics. I lifted my first weight when I was 13 years of age and I was a bit on the heavy side (not speaking about muscle). My close friend, Dennis, showed me the darkness of the gym, which engulfed me directly. At the time my workout routines were not that frequent and did not involve lower body training. A year later all of that changed and a frequent workout routine was created and the lower body exercises became a favourite. Till this day, four to five years after I touched my first dumbbell; Dennis is one of my closest training partners.
My idea with this page is to document my journey for personal benefits but as well receive feedback and ideas from readers that can optimise my training and nutrition. The natural question then is; what is the purpose of my training? My goal is to reach a aesthetically pleasing body in my eyes, becoming a natural body-builder. Examples of the body I have in mind can be comparable to athletes such as Matt Ogus and Jeff Seid. I believe that I can reach this level with proper nutrition, training and sleep, as there is no secret to success. Just hard work!
I am currently training four days in a row with one day rest and then starting over. My split is chest/triceps, legs/calves, back/biceps, shoulders/abdominals, rest and then repeat. Cardiovascular activity is not incorporated into my routine but as summer is coming and the weather outside is getting better, I might start jogging very soon. I am currently cutting for summer with a caloric intake of 2200 kcal and macro-nutrient levels of protein/carbohydrates/fats are 220g/220g/49g respectively. I believe this is it for my short introduction and I will soon be posting more updates of my training, nutrition and oh so necessary pictures of my aesthetics.
